River Adventures in the Sandhills
Perhaps you’ve heard of Nebraska’s prominent reputation for river adventures. Whether you’re kayaking the Dismal, drifting down the Niobrara, or stock tank floating the Middle Loup, the many tributaries draining the shallow lakes of the Oglala Aquifer offer up numerous recreational opportunities for wilderness vacations. The convenient location of the Sandhills Motel and Glidden Canoe Rental offers easy access to river adventures on the Dismal River and Middle Loup River, as well as a number of other Nebraska tourist attractions.
Wild River Adventures
For those more experienced at navigating the rapids, we offer technical and exhilarating canoe and kayak trips on the Dismal River. The Middle Loup River is great for a more relaxed, easy-going ride aboard a canoe, kayak, or stock tank. With these two river ride options, all can expect to get what they want and need from this vacation in the wilderness. Relaxation or adventure, you’ll find it at the Sandhills Motel and Glidden Canoe Rental in the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills.
